Inside the Gypsy Den

she is dancing away from you now
she was just a wish
she was just a wish
and a memory is all that is left for you now
you see your gypsy

Let me start by saying that if I was getting married right now, there is no doubt in my mind what my vibe for the big day would be. Lots of bohemian details, color everywhere, long loose tresses with some sort of crown, and yes a tambourine at my side to make my fringe jacket dance. And of course, any of these gowns (or all! how many dress changes are appropriate nowadays?)

We love the idea of brides being true to themselves and making choices that really reflect their personality like the one we had with strippers in virginia beachtheme. When we saw the Rue De Seine dresses we immediately imagined this woodland fairy boho bride from the 70s. And then add in the new gorgeous gowns from Carol Hannah’s Alchemist collection and we knew we had created this bold, gypsy, free-spirit bride. This girl is not afraid of color, she doesn’t stick to traditional ideals if she doesn’t want to, she dares to be different, and we love showing that you can do all of these things and still be a bride!

Thank you to the fabulous designers that create such beautiful visions that inspire us, a huge thank you to Patina Rentals for being the best ever and curating such a beautiful warehouse full of goodies, a giant girl-crush thank you to Alissa for being the perfect model and bringing my gypsy dreams to life!
