We love it when we get the chance to travel to new places for weddings, and when we arrived in Deep River, CT we knew we were in for quite a treat. We met them for their first look at a hotel right on the ocean where the wind was wild and the view was gorgeous. Then Rachel and Ben tied the knot at a gorgeous gem of a venue called the Lace Factory, an old lace production factory built in 1875 set in the woods, and it couldn’t have been more picturesque. They incorporated lace into their decor as an homage to their venue, then added gold accents and rustic elements to make it feel chic and relaxed. They even managed to keep the note that Ben gave to Rachel on the first night they met. It had his number and said “10 bucks says you don’t call me.” Ben owed Rachel $10. The vibe of the entire celebration was just funfunfun! Everyone was laughing the entire time, drinking and dancing, and we had the most wonderful time being a part of their fairytale.
