We decided to take a little trip up to the Pacific Northwest to see the sights, smell the pines, and spend some time with each other on the road…our favorite place to be. We drove up to Portland with a pitstop in Roseburg where Tim used to spend his childhood summers, then back down again taking Highway 1 all the way along the coast. It was absolutely incredible. Tim and I had a blast driving through trees, running down dunes, and getting naked in the hot springs. I especially loved picking wild blackberries right off the vine…they were just soaking up that warm sunshine and were bursting with sweetness. We got nostalgic as Tim told wonderful stories about his time spent in Oregon as a kid. The best part was being able to bring the pup, she was our little navigator in the car and our leader in the wild. Sunrises, sunsets, redwood forests, to miles and miles of coast. It was a beautiful trip filled with many memories to cherish. Don’t miss the video at the end of the post!
